How it All Started

Sometimes a bump in the road leads to a path of greater fulfillment.
Eight years ago, my three-year job with a newspaper didn’t quite work out. While the production-oriented work was not particularly gratifying, it was, after all, job security. In considering my next options, I decided to take a big leap of faith along with an equally big financial risk and bought a small business. The fun was about to begin!
Dirt & Digital was originally established to provide marketing materials to the real estate industry. When the business started to decline from the recession, I saw an opportunity to branch out to other fields and clientele. In addition to being a means of survival, it turned out to be the opportunity I’d been seeking to expand my creative abilities and provide more diverse design products to a broader client base.
One key to my success is that I combine my skills and credentials with my motivation for excellence. I’m quick, efficient, insightful, and produce highly effective design pieces that are affordable for today’s small businesses, nonprofits, and entrepreneurs. For me, there is nothing more gratifying than taking an idea and mixing it with a variety of elements and seeing it become a visual reality.
There are no two clients alike, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. It makes the path to fulfillment much more – fulfilling!
